Flags: see list on the right. IJzerland has one official flag that is normally displayed whenever the country is represented in one way or another. There is also a Royal Standard, but that hasn't been used since the royal family became extinct in 7811. It is however the prerogative of the acting head of state (see below) to have the Standard borne in his or her presence; few of them choose to do so however. Each of the three regions has a flag, but among the normal provinces it is not a custom to bear, let alone to have flags; three of the autonomous provinces have flags. Following the war of 7913, during which the then independent duchy of Sambekistan was annexed to become the autonomous province of Kagqizeinshaims, the Sambekes were forbidden to have a flag representing them.

Head of state: king Wilhelmus IV Auskrssuns (since 7998)
Parliament: the Walidaize Hus, which is composed of the 37 eldest indigenous inhabitants of IJzerland (officially, that is, since not all of the IJzerlandic people have been registered)

IJzerland has the following official unities which have value in the whole of IJzerland:

     1 Gahwini (plur. Gahwinja) = 5 Ausona = 35 Stiufrus;
     1 Reikjisþalar (plur. Reikjisþalrus) = 3 Ausona = 21 Stiufrus;
     1 Þalar (plur. Þalrus) = 17 Stiufrus + 1 Runa;
     1 Auso (plur. Ausona) = 7 Stiufrus;
     1 Stiubar (plur. Stiufrus) = 2 Runos;
     1 Runa (plur. Runos)
Apart from those above, some regions and (mostly autonomous) provinces have their own unities pegged to the official currency of IJzerland, but those aren't excepted everywhere in the country.
