Castles and ruins
Thanks to its violent Middle Ages, Cartyas possesses a large quantity of castles and fortresses, many of which are however now ruins. The Castle of Curśa (Curśav́ėn Źaźalek) is the largest and best preserved, and in modern times it serves as the Governor's residence. The ministry of tourism would like to invest in the most attractive castles, in order to open them for the general public.
